Now we can truly say that winter is upon us after such a nice long spell of milder weather. As we enter this new year, there are some important dates that you should all be aware of. So please make sure that you check the list of dates/events below.

I would like to thank Kate Leary who responded right away to my call for help with leading the overcrowding issue at the Hardy School. Along with Ginna Reeder, Paulomi Dave-Potter, Jennifer Worden, Marga Varea and Alex Bilsky, Kate is looking into what plans the Thompson School has come up with to deal with overcrowding and what possible solutions look viable for the Hardy School. Here are several links to join the Google group created by this group of Hardy parents to distribute information about this issue as well as the Thompson School website created by their overcrowding committee.

!aboutgroup/hardyenrollment

I urge all of you to at least stay informed on this overcrowding issue and if possible to attend some of the public meetings (check below for the upcoming ones, one of which is tonight).

Here is what is happening in our community in the next couple of weeks. Also note the message about the community run coming up in May. Last year, the race reached capacity early on. So please sign up if you would like to run; it benefits our school.

Also, there is a note of thanks from the organization that was collecting gifts. Thank you, Amy Reese, for organizing this event. Hardy donated 120 gifts to 5 families!

MEETINGS
Tues.
